Managing automated SMS check-ins

Configure scheduled messages and automate your daily crew updates.

Why this matters: consistency without relying on memory.

What are check-ins?

Check-ins are automated text messages sent to your crew on a schedule—for example, every morning at 6:30 AM. A simple question like "How's the site looking today? Any needs?" prompts replies that CrewKore captures and turns into Signals for your dashboard.

Creating a check-in

Go to **Check-ins** and click **New check-in**. Choose:

Name – e.g. "Morning site status"

Message – the exact text crew will receive

Schedule – time and timezone (and optionally which days)

Audience – which crew(s) or contacts receive it

Save and the check-in will run on the next scheduled time.

Reading responses

Replies appear in **Messages** and are also processed by AI into **Signals**—material requests, manpower notes, issues, and status updates. You get a consistent daily pulse without having to remember to ask.

Automating the ask means you never miss a day and crews know what to expect.

Pausing or editing

You can pause a check-in without deleting it, or edit the message and schedule anytime. Changes apply to the next run.
